I kind of messed this page up >_> Oh well. It'll be interesting to see how I handle drawing the Firefly Lord over and over again in chapter 3...
So yeah. I've always found the concept of the FFL being both the slave and king of the fireflies kind of interesting. I didn't really manage to explain it all that well on this page though...basically, he was 'chosen' to be their king.

@pokemon: You're absolutely right- it is possible to get some very nice effects out of traditional art. But as cheshire mentioned, it's hard to get pure black without KILLING markers XD

Hmm. This page is loveleh. and I know, it's hard to get real black through marker. I've tried. And failed. But hey, MY readers expect nothing more than what I give them. muahahahah....
